Business is started

Beginning production in a garage, we manufactured fabricated steel products, which were distributed throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Expanded our product line by specializing in climbing products for local and national companies. Many of today’s “big box” retail chains recognized the quality and value of Tri-Arc products and began to use our rolling ladders. Those relationships continue today.

Tri-Arc had completed our second major expansion by moving into a 45,000 sq. ft. campus-type manufacturing facility.

We emerged as an industry leader by offering the widest variety and highest quality standard and custom fabricated climbing products.

After moving into a new 325,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and distributing facility, our company also added a state-of-the-art robotic weld cell, to revolutionize the ladder manufacturing process, and the country’s largest conveyor fed powder coat paint systems, to give our products the premier quality finish in the industry.

In response to the demand for customized climbing and access solutions, Tri-Arc launched a custom solutions division branded Engineered Access Solutions (EAS).

Tri-Arc launched the first of its kind offering configurable ladder and platform products. This offering, known as U-Design Configurable Products, brought to market solutions that customers could configure and tailor to their specific needs for climbing and access solutions.
